Numbers game: how many wins will it take?
Jeff Gordon may not win his fourth NASCAR Winston Cup Series title (of course, the way the points race is going, he just might), but it looks like the record he shares with Richard Petty is safe for at least one more year.At the one-third pole of an unpredictable season, it's unlikely anyone will win 13 races in 2000. However, someone probably will win at least five races this year, and possibly more.
